HOLLY MARTONE - production design

Holly is a full-time member of Local 52 and passionate about creating astounding sets and space. A graduate of Pratt Institute with a BFA in Art and Design, she landed her first job at Jager Dipaola Kemp (JDK). There, she worked with marketing and branding expert Michael Jager and designed footwear for Merrell and graphics for Burton Snowboards, Nordica and Jogbra. Then, for ten successful years, Holly manufactured, branded, and distributed her own product line of high-end custom stationery. When Holly was subsequently called upon to serve as Executive Director of the Shelburne Art Center, her creative vision and entrepreneurial instinct guided the struggling nonprofit onto the path of finanical and artistic sustainability. Most recently, these talents inspired the launching of a new retail/gallery business in the West Village.

Holly’s creative background and endless energy to drive the vision, look and feel of a space making it a new SCENE.

“I have no doubt, the success of that film and attention the project has received, even years after completion, is connected to the striking vision, world, and tone Holly gathered from my script and breathed life into through her designs.”

Jessi Shuttleworth - Director, Screenwriter, and Producer of February

“As an independent media producer and freelance filmmaker the last 14 years, rarely do I encounter an individual appearing with such aptitude, creativity, fortitude and passion for production design as does Holly”

Joseph Eulo - Director and Producer of Tråfico
